Patrick J. Russell has been a transactional and business attorney for more than thirty five years and his primary areas of practice include an emphasis on federal and state securities law, corporate and partnership law, limited liability companies, taxation, general business and commercial litigation. His securities and corporate law experience includes public and private offerings, acquisitions, mergers, venture capital financing transactions, SEC reporting requirements applicable to public companies and their affiliates, SEC enforcement actions and stock transfer matters for individuals and transfer agents. Patrick also has substantial experience with issues applicable to corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and limited partnerships; individual and entity taxation matters; real estate matters; contract negotiation and preparation; secured and unsecured loan transactions; employee stock option and incentive plans; oil and gas matters; distributorships; employment matters; purchase and sale of businesses; and intellectual property matters. In addition, Patrick’s practice includes commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts, and has represented clients in arbitration, mediation and regulatory matters. Patrick has provided representation to a diverse group of private and public companies and individuals.

In 1985 and 1986, Patrick was a part-time Instructor of Law at the College of Law, University of Denver. During 1975-76, Patrick was a part-time Instructor of Accounting at Metropolitan State College located in Denver, Colorado. Patrick is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney.
